Finally,  the Lakers get a real point guard in Ramon Sessions and will not be torched by the other point guards in the league. They traded their 2012 first round draft and Luke Walton. Which are you more excited to see: Luke Walton gone or a point guard not in AARP?

Chris Paul and Dwight Howard to the Lakers!? If true this can create a rumble in the Western Conference and create an instant star studded team that rivals the Miami Heat with Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. For this trade to happen Andrew Byrum would be the center piece and most likely be traded to New Orleans. Also, look for Lamar “Kardashian” Odom and Ron Artest to be mixed up into the traded. Can the Lakers make it happen? It’s been rumored that this summer that Dwight Howard #1 choice was to come to L.A.

If you haven’t already heard the Dallas Mavericks have won the NBA Championship. Or more importantly to the media Lebron James and the Heat lost it. Is it fair to put all the blame on King James…no it’s not yet the media dubbed him the next Michael Jordan as he was coming out of high school. The pressure was on for him to win it this year as it was in years past when he was with Cleveland. He’s young and he’ll probably win one at some point, but for now and likely throughout the summer the internet will ridicule him.

Blake Griffin is a superstar. Quite frankly, he’s been an exciting player who has taken the league by storm.  Many expected Blake to be great, but his play has been off the wall with his athleticism and NBA Jam like dunks.

Blake will undoubtedly take his game to a whole new level during this NBA all-star weekend and will be anointed as a superstar.

As a superstar does Blake Griffin need a nickname?

I’ll come up with several suggestions and would like for you to decide in the comment section:

Griffin.

Simple, direct and part of his name. From Wikipedia, a Griffin is s a legendary creature with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle. Why does a nickname have to be complicated? Look at the most established nickname in the game “Jordan” as it was never altered or changed.

Redbull.

A perfect combination if he were to be endorsed by Red bull. Blake is a ginger and has the agility and aggression of a bull.

Quake.

I love this nickname. It’s represent Blake’s game around the basket. He’s a Quake waiting to happen.

His airness turns forty-eight.

Welcome Back King James to the Quicken Loans Arena.

The Cleveland Crowd welcomed LeBron “King” James back to the Quicken Loans Arena with a resounding BOOOOOO!  The stadium was exceptionally loud as the crowded united in one boisterous ROAR as he entered the arena.

No doubt the Cleveland fans were showing their anger and frustration by booing their once beloved King James, who in a press conference we will soon not forget this summer with millions watching as “The Decision” rang from his lips.  “This fall I’ll be taking my talents to South Beach”.  With that simple phrase one man singlehandedly dashed the hopes and dreams of millions.  Not only Cleveland fans but also those anticipating him choosing to go to the Chicago Bulls, the New York Knicks, and the New Jersey Nets. 

But the return of LeBron to Cleveland was definitely a game all of Cleveland had circled on their calendars, the Heat vs. Cavaliers game December 2nd 2010.  The NBA and the Cleveland Police Department upped security for this game not knowing what might happen with the rowdy, angery Cleveland crowd on hand to witness their former “Kings” return.  There were signs and T-shirts everywhere expressing the anger and hatred of LeBrons choice to leave them.  One shirt read:  THE LYING KING  “I got a goal, and thats to bring an NBA championship to Cleveland, and I won’t stop until I get it” LeBron James.

It seemed like every time James had the ball the crowd roared with Boos and other chants.  Many thought LeBron wouldn’t play well in this type of atmosphere but they were sadly mistaken.  To the chagrin of the Cleveland Cavaliers fans LeBron James had probably what will be his best outing all season.  He must have been fired up by the crowd because he went off on his former team.

James scored 38 points ( 24 in the third quarter alone a Quicken Loans Arena record), 5 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 block and 1 steal.  To say the least Cleveland’s former “King” put on a kingly performance.

Really LeBron?  Did you just do that?

Yes the Michael Jordan esque chalk clap just happened.  Wow LeBron, really?  This was like the proverbial “slap in the face” to all of Cleveland and Cav’s fans everywhere.
